SubScout is committed to protecting your privacy. By default, this extension operates entirely locally and does not transmit your data outside your browser.

💾 Local Data Storage (Default Mode)

• All your subscription data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API
• No data is sent to external servers by default
• No analytics or tracking code is included in this extension
• All subscription management happens on your device

🌐 Optional Account Features

SubScout offers optional account creation for:

• Cross-device synchronization
• Email notifications for subscription renewals
• Data backup and recovery

Creating an account is completely optional. If you choose to create an account:

• Your subscription data will be securely stored on our servers
• Data is transmitted using secure encryption protocols
• You can delete your account and all associated data at any time
